Amateur and professional footballers alike have been cut off from the game they love during the COVID-19 lockdown, but you can still work on your game without breaking social distancing guidelines. All you need is a little bit of room and the advice of a pro.

Chelsea and Hyundai UK have partnered up to produce a series of drills videos to help refine your skills. It’s supposedly for children, but having watched the first video we can assure you that players of all ages will benefit from the drills involved.

The first video in the series focuses on dribbling, and features brief cameos from Chelsea players Christian Pulisic and Michy Batshuayi. One of whom is renowned for his dribbling and one of whom is Michy Batshuayi.

While Pulisic introduces the video and Batshuayi pops up to show off some dribbling on a deserted bit of pavement, the actual drills are explained and demonstrated by Andy Ottley, senior coach education officer with Chelsea. We don’t really know what that title means but can confirm Ottley is no slouch when it comes to rounding a cone at speed with the ball at his feet.
