If you’re looking to improve your diet, you can’t do much better than a bowl of muesli for breakfast. A combination of rolled oats, dried fruit, nuts and seeds, muesli is high in fibre and protein and will leave you feeling full for the rest of the morning. The sugar content in muesli can vary between brands, though, so it’s worth comparing them before you buy. We’ve put four types to the test to see which makes the tastiest brekkie.

Alpen £2.65 for 750g

You can’t go wrong with this classic, tasty recipe from Alpen that’s full of hazelnuts, raisins and almonds.
