We consider providing workout inspiration one of the most important reasons for Coach existing, and to that end we have hundreds of workouts and exercise guides on the website. These cater to people of all fitness levels, whether you do all your workouts at home with no equipment, or visit the weights room every day of the week (in normal times).

However, we know that sometimes it helps to have more than words and pictures on a page when you’re following a workout, so we’ve teamed up with some of the best personal trainers to bring you video workouts through our Instagram channel.

If you head there now you’ll find a couple of great weights workouts from Lucie Cowan, a personal trainer from London gym chain Third Space.

The 40-minute workouts hit muscles all over the body and include a warm-up and warm-down – two crucial parts of any workout that are all too easy to skip, especially when you’re training by yourself at home. The first workout requires dumbbells, while the second adds kettlebells to the dumbbell moves. You’ll find plenty more workouts from Cowan on Third Space’s channel.

If you’re in need of something shorter or don’t have access to weights, then check out the shadowboxing workout with Lindsey Prior, a personal trainer from kickboxing studio Flykick. The session is just 15 minutes long but you’ll work up a sweat, thanks to several rounds of punching and kicking plus a few explosive exercises like squat jumps thrown in for good measure.

And if you enjoy that you’ll be delighted to know Flykick is offering online classes. A three-class free trial is available, with donations requested (£2, £5, or £10) to help pay staff’s wages.

Up next week is a session from Frankie Nieto, UK master trainer and head coach at F45 London Bridge, with a ten-move bodyweight workout to get your blood pumping.
