The Nike Pegasus Trail 4 Just Hit The Nike App, Here’s Where Else It’s Available

With little to no fanfare, the Nike React Pegasus Trail 4 has launched in the UK and Europe. We rated the Pegasus Trail 3 as one of the best trail-running shoes because of how comfortable it was on both roads and light trails, and the new version looks built to deliver in the same way.

Nike members can order it for £114.95 from the Nike app, and it’s on sale for £115 at Pro:Direct Running and Sports Shoes. Those in most other European countries can also pick up the latest version of the popular road-to-trail running shoe at Top 4 Running, where it costs €129.99.

We’ve yet to see confirmation that the Pegasus Trail 4 is available in the US, but it’s likely to cost $130 in line with the Pegasus Trail 3, since the UK price is unchanged with the new version.

Some of the stand-out features we discovered while reviewing the Nike Pegasus Trail 3 were the comfortable ride delivered by the React from midsole and the fact that the outsole was well suited to both road and light trail running, making it a versatile option for runners who want one shoe to do both.

It was let down somewhat by the shoe’s weight and the fact the outsole struggled on wet ground. We don’t have info on the Pegasus Trail 4’s weight yet, but the outsole has a new lug pattern that will hopefully improve the grip of the shoe on the trails without reducing how comfortable it is on the road.

We’ll review the Nike Pegasus Trail 4 as soon as we can get our hands on a pair. One small mark against the new shoe already is that it doesn’t come in the amazing teal colourway you could get for the Pegasus Trail 3. The colours of the Pegasus Trail 4 available now are a light grey and yellow design for men, and “Arctic orange” or black designs for women.
