Louis wool blazer
The sort of blazer beloved of James Corden and his media chums this, and it's not hard to understand why - it's made of fetching grey wool, has a refined black trim and elbow patches and the slim cut helps to hide your wobbly bits.

Gant green jacket
Only for the brave, this one. But if you are feeling daring or you live in Shoreditch, this would work well with board shorts - day-glow ones natch. A fluorescent cap with a flipped up peak would finish the outfit off a treat. If you're too old and sensible for this, combine the jacket with white linen trouser for the tropical gent look.

Lambretta navy suit jacket
A classy navy suit jacket that exudes sharpness and elegance – it's the kind of thing you might find in Daniel Craig or Jude Law's wardrobe. So if you aspire to be a sartorial switched on spy or a lady killing Hollywood dandy, get one.

Costello grey blazer
Barring board shorts, this suave blazer goes well with anything. Wear it with a pair of tight jeans and pointy shoes for a rakish city look or smarter trousers if you're going out for a meal with the in-laws.
