Why You Need to Invest in a Shacket This Autumn

You’ve probably already noticed how much darker it is when you get home. You’ve definitely noticed the beginnings of sunshine rationing at the weekends. Problem is, seeing as we’re not quite fully out of the sunny months and still a few weeks away from full-blown face-freezing winter, dressing for the conditions is a real mission.

What your wardrobe needs is a layer perfectly suited to this transitional period. This season, it comes in the shape of the “shacket”. It doesn't take and IQ of 450 to work out what a shacket is - unsurprisingly, it’s a shirt-jacket crossover, more lightweight than your go-to winter coat but warm enough to stick two fingers up to the increasingly cold wind.

You’ll be seeing a lot of these on the high street this autumn. Get ahead of the trend with our pick of the best.
